Now that students are returning to school after the winter break, they are also returning to after-school programs at The Salvation Army. Throughout the Northwest Division, Salvation Army facilities host kids and teens after school for a variety of activities.

Homework tutors, reading programs, and computer labs are available at many locations, so kids can get assistance with their school work. In most places, a snack or dinner is also available. When the homework is finished, kids a can participate in many character-building activities, including music lessons, athletic teams, scouts, and more.

In many locations, our partnership with local schools allows us to pick up kids after the school day ends. They stay at The Salvation Army until parents can pick them up after work. Parents appreciate that their kids are having fun in a safe, educational environment.

Salvation Army after school programs vary by location. For information about programs offered, please contact your local Salvation Army. A complete listing of Salvation Army locations can be found on this website under the "Locations" tab, or by clicking HERE.
