As the cold temperatures continue throughout Western Washington, The Salvation Army continues its commitment to helping the neediest people in the community. Cold weather shelters, operated by The Salvation Army, are open in many locations. Our homeless neighbors can spend the night indoors, safe from dangerous weather conditions. The Army provides sleeping mats, blankets, and hot coffee. Sometimes, hot soup and movie are also available!

The following locations are scheduled to be open through Sunday, January 22.

Seattle / Downtown - Seattle City Hall Shelter

• located on Fourth Avenue, between Cherry and James streets (enter at red doors)
• open 8:30pm to 7:30am
• serves adult men and women
• operated The Salvation Army in partnership with the City of Seattle

Seattle / Downtown - King County Winter Response Shelter

• located at 500 Fourth Avenue, in King County Administration Building
• open nightly at 9pm
• serves adult men only
• operated by The Salvation Army in partnership with King County

Seattle / Lower Queen Anne - Seattle Center Shelter

• located at Seattle Center in the Rainer Room, at 305 Harrison Street
• open 9pm to 6:30am
• serves men and women
• operated by The Salvation Army in partnership with City of Seattle

Eastside

• located at 911 164th Avenue NE in Bellevue
• open 8:30pm to 8am
• serves adult women and children

Everett

• located at 2525 Rucker Avenue in Everett
• open 8pm to 7am
• Bremerton
  located at 832 6th Street in Bremerton

Olympia

• located at 808 5th Avenue SE in Olympia
• open 9pm to 6am; also staying open throughout the day in extreme conditions
• serves adult men and women
