The Salvation Army annual fundraising event, The Red Kettle Luncheon, was a resounding success! Nearly 400 guests joined us to hear about the work of The Salvation Army in King County.

The hour-long event featured Seattle Mayor Ed Murray as keynote speaker, with Mark Wright from KING 5 morning news as Master of Ceremonies. This year’s event featured special recognition for corporate partners Fred Meyer and QFC, who shared the Arthur S. Langlie Award for Visionary Leadership. The prestigious Others Award was present to Judi Jacobsen and Family for their continued philanthropic support of The Salvation Army.

The generous donations from sponsors and attendees will be used to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our underprivileged neighbors throughout King County.

Thank you!
