As Spring arrives throughout the Northwest, summer vacation is on every young person’s mind. At The Salvation Army, we are busily preparing for another summer of camps – a great way for kids and teens to escape the city, and get back to nature.

The Salvation Army Northwest Division is currently accepting applications for youth and teen camps this summer – at Camp Arnold (Eatonville, WA) and Camp Gifford (Loon Lake, WA). Both camps are located in beautiful rural environments, with the perfect blend of outdoor adventure and character-building programs.

Youth and teen camp sessions are one week each (five nights), and Pee Wee camp is available for two nights. A sliding scale, based on family income, is used to calculate the tuition. Scholarships may be available through your local Salvation Army office. The local office can advise regarding specific camp dates for various ages, as well as special theme weeks at camp. Transportation between camp and the local Salvation Army office is often provided.

Please visit the camp websites for detailed information about Camp Arnold and Camp Gifford.

The continued work of The Salvation Army relies on the generosity of donors. Your donations throughout the year, help us to provide summer camp experiences for hundreds of kids at Camp Arnold and Camp Gifford each summer, as well as provide support funding for Day Camp programs at local Salvation Army centers throughout Washington state, northern Idaho and western Montana.
