Thanksgiving dinner is a celebrated tradition for families everywhere. It is a time for gathering and sharing –on a day that is simply about being together and enjoying each others’company. As you sit down to an elaborate meal, do you ever think about the people who don’t have Thanksgiving dinner? Those who don’t have a home, or those who can’t afford the dinner? What are they doing on Thanksgiving?

The Salvation Army opens its doors on Thanksgiving to many individuals and families in need. Throughout the Northwest Division, several locations will host a free Thanksgiving dinner. The hot meals –turkey and all of the traditional fixings –are free and open to all, no one is turned away. You can help us make Thanksgiving a special day for everyone. Please make a donation today.
