As the days become shorter, and the air turns cool and crisp, we know that the holiday season is upon us. A certain festive feeling is in the air, as families begin preparing for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The Salvation Army is also preparing for the holidays – preparing to help the many people throughout our communities who need our help during the holidays and winter months. The winter season means that more people need help with basic needs of food and shelter. We are also preparing to help families enjoy the holidays, preparing food boxes for the special meals, visiting nursing homes and senior shut-ins, and providing toys for kids to open on Christmas morning.

But we can’t do it without your help. Your generosity enables us to continue helping others in your community. It’s not too early to help others enjoy the special season. Please make a donation today. Our donations page can be found HERE.
