The office team that helped wrap gifts.

The dentist office employees who hosted a toy drive.

The church group who collected canned goods for our food bank.

The student club that distributed food baskets.

The family that helped serve Christmas dinner to the homeless.

The tutor who helps kids with their homework.

Thank you – we couldn’t do it with you.

The people who find time to volunteer with The Salvation Army are as diverse as the population. But they have one thing in common – caring for others. Whether it was one hour or one day or more, the force of volunteers at The Salvation Army is strongest during the holiday season.

The Salvation Army relies on volunteers to assist in year-round programs and activities. Throughout the Northwest Division, volunteers are helping every day to fulfill our mission of “Doing the Most Good.” But, during the holidays, many programs are added to ensure that all families enjoy the spirt of the season, and no child is left without a gift under the tree. Those added programs translate to countless hours of volunteer time.

“Thank you” to everyone who helped us this year. Your time and effort are appreciated beyond words.

And, as the New Year begins, our wish is that you will feel the same joy in your heart that you brought to others this season.
