Planned Gifts

A planned gift to The Salvation Army will improve the lives of others in your community for many years to come. If you’re interested in the possibility of making a planned gift, you can make it to the general fund or to a designated location or program of The Salvation Army.

Typically, people make planned gifts in response to significant developments in their own lives: when selling a business or retiring; upon receiving an inheritance; or during the course of developing their own financial and estate plans.

You may find it helpful to consider various planned giving options or explore how to give (the different ways your gift could be made).

Our Planned Giving Directors are versed in all types of donations, and can assist you in establishing The Salvation Army as a beneficiary to your account(s). • Closely held stock

For Allied Professionals

The mission of The Salvation Army Planned Giving Department is to serve our donors, their families and our Allied Professional partners with helpful information.

It is our experience that donors often have questions about the best way to benefit through a planned gift or how to prepare a gift plan. Few donors are aware of the many options available and what type of income and lifestyle a planned gift provides. The Salvation Army can help you better serve your clients. Along with our informative website we offer consultations, seminars, Will Kits, tax guides, legacy and bequest planning tools. Please feel free to contact us if you have any estate planning questions.

We look forward to partnering with you.
