Celebrate Christmas with the iconic brass band of The Salvation Army. The 25-member band joins forces with Breath of Aire choir for an evening of classic carols in the beautiful setting of Seattle's Town Hall. Christian recording artist Barbara Allen will join as special guest vocalist. Ms. Allen has more than 100 stage and screen credits and has recorded three solo albums.  

The highly regarded Salvation Army brass band is directed by Matthew Woods. Mr. Woods is a classically trained musician and vocalist. He attended Trinity College of Music in London, and now works as Music Director of The Salvation Army Northwest Division. Brass bands are a long-time tradition in The Salvation Army; this band includes the organization’s top musicians from the Northwest Division.

Joining the brass band on stage will be Breath of Aire Choir. Breath of Aire is a Washington-based choir under the director of Dr. J. Bayard DuBois. With more than 90 members (men and women), the choir will perform a cappella and with The Salvation Army brass band. 

The 90-minute concert is ideal for families. Audiences of all ages will enjoy timeless songs including “Joy to the World," "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing," and other holiday favorites. The triumphant brass band and exhilarating voices will fill the Grand Hall with a memorable performance that is sure to ignite the spirit of the season in everyone.
