The ringing of bells and the sound of coins being dropped into the kettle are synonymous with Christmas. For more than 100 years, The Salvation Army has been ringing bells and collecting donations – with the goal of sharing the joy of Christmas and helping those in need throughout the community.

The bell ringing season starts in late November and runs through the Christmas Eve. Every day, Monday through Saturday, you’ll find Salvation Army volunteers raising money for the basic needs of neighbors who need help.

Can you spare a day or a few hours to help ring the bell and raise money for The Salvation Army in your community Bring your friends, family, your club, or your church – the more, the merrier. Together we can make a difference for families in our community.  It only takes one shift to raise enough money to provide two nights of shelter and four warm meals for the men, women and children who enter our doors every day.

If you are interested in volunteering as a bell ringer this Christmas season, please email NWvolunteer@usw.SalvationArmy.org.
