Tickets are on sale now for the first annual dinner fundraiser to benefit The Salvation Army in Kalispell, MT. The event, “We Can Swing It,” will be held on Saturday, March 22, and features dancing to the lively tunes of Swingin’ On High Big Band. The festivities will be held in the Expo Building at Flat County Fairgrounds, beginning at 5:30pm.

“We hope to make this event an annual tradition,” said Major Steve Svenson, Corps Officer at The Salvation Army in Kalispell. “The community is very supportive of our work, and this event is a good way to have some fun while supporting The Salvation Army.”

“We Can Swing It” is presented by Kalispell Toyota / Scion dealership in Kalispell. Additional sponsorships are available; corporations or individuals interested in joining as a sponsor should contact Bob Blake at 406-257-4357 or Bob.Blake@usw.SalvationArmy.org. All sponsors will receive tickets to the event, and their name will be featured at the event and in event materials. 

The Salvation Army has been assisting members of the Kalispell community since 1895. Last year, more than 10,670 people were helped throughout Flathead County. Services include free community breakfast and lunch daily (Monday through Friday); shower and laundry facilities; vouchers for clothing and household items;  back to school backpacks and school supplies; summer camps for kids and teens; holiday programs include toy, clothing and food distribution to those experiencing need.
