The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is renowned for its extensive and successful program that helps men and women learn to live without drugs and alcohol. Each year, hundreds of adults are helped by the Seattle location – with similar success repeated in many locations throughout the country.

The Salvation Army Family Thrift store in Seattle funds this program locally. When you donate clothing, furniture, or household items to the store – or purchase these goods from the store – you are helping local men and women overcome their addiction.

Now, you can help a bit more while shopping. When you make a monetary donation at the register, you can help fund the “Share the Love” campaign. This campaign will send local men and women to regional The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Convention in Anaheim, CA, this October. A simple donation of $1, $5, or $10 will help defray costs for convention registration, transportation, and lodging and are being accepted at the Seattle ARC Thrift Store (1010 4th Avenue S in Seattle).

Men and women from The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center participate in a thorough six-month, residential program that repairs their mind, body, and spirit. The multi-faceted approach to recovery includes physical, emotional, spiritual, and work therapy.  Each participant is at their own stage of rehabilitation, as new people come into the program every day.

The convention is a wonderful opportunity for current program participants, and those who completed the program, to have the opportunity to attend lectures and workshops led by rehabilitation experts. The intensive three-day event will celebrate and inspire all to continue their recovery.

Thank you for contributing to the “Share the Love” campaign.

Please note: We are not able to accept online donations towards this event - donations may be made directly at the Seattle ARC Thrift Store (1010 4th Avenue S in Seattle)
