The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center will host on evening of music and dance on Saturday, May 17, at Washington Hall in Seattle. The event is scheduled from 7:00pm to 11:00pm.  Tickets are $12 at the door or $10 in advance (available by emailing Captain Judith Rockey HERE.)

Several musical acts will perform at the event, including Chris Clifton; Chris, Jacque, and Steve; Mukilteo 7; and Lou Echeverri.

As is customary for the Adult Rehabilitation Center, this event will be drug- and alcohol-free. Every day, up to 120 men and women attend The Salvation Army rehabilitation program in Seattle, which provides the free six-month residential program to those learning to live without drugs and alcohol. It is a free, six-month residential program, which includes physical, emotional, spiritual and professional rehabilitation.

“This is a great opportunity for anyone to enjoy a fun evening out, without the distraction of drugs and alcohol” said Captain Timothy Rockey, director of the Adult Rehabilitation Center in Seattle.

The historic Washington Hall is located at 153 14the Avenue in Seattle’s Central Area. The Hall was built in 1908 as a fraternal lodge and dance hall. By the mid-20th century, it transitioned to become one of the city’s leading jazz performance venues. Today the Hall is renowned as a place of history, and used by many non-profit organizations.

Two adjacent lots are available for parking – cost is a donation to the program. Additional street parking (free) is also available around the Hall.

Funds raised during the event will benefit the Adult Rehabilitation Center and the upcoming conference in Fall 2014. Men and women, currently participating in the rehabilitation program will join at the conference in Anaheim, California – sure to be a weekend of inspiration and growth for everyone who attends.
